Dress code: Semi Formal

Please bring clean non-marking shoes to help protect our amazing dance floor.

Masks & vaccinations recommended, but not required.

There’s still time!!  We accept registration through week 2 of classes.  Come THIS Monday or Wednesday before class, register & get those feet dancing! Yes, we’re dancing and our instructors LOVE to share moves in these classes to help your dancing style.  Sign-up for your favorite class or for a new one you’ve always wanted to learn. Certificates available Here.  Monday’s ~ 6wks ~ Jan. 9 – Feb. 13, 2023 6:00-6:55pm ~ Advanced Waltz ~ Register is CLOSED. w/Rulon & May *Intermediate Waltz or similar experience required. 7:00-7:55pm ~ Charleston ~ Register is CLOSED. w/Danielle & Christin. *Social dance experience recommended. 8:00-8:55pm ~ Beginning Country 2 Step ~ Register is CLOSED. w/Camille & Megan *No dance experience required. Wednesday’s ~ 6wks ~ Jan 11 – Feb. 15, 2023 6:00-6:55pm ~ Beginning Waltz ~ Register is CLOSED. w/Rulon & May. *Dance experience recommended but not required. 7:00-7:55pm ~ Beginning ChaCha ~ Register is CLOSED. w/Megan  *No dance experience necessary. 8:00-8:55pm ~ West Coast Swing II ~ Register is CLOSED.  w/Megan & Camille *West Coast Swing or equivalent required! MUST be able to maintain basic 6-count rhythm in a sugar push. Please bring non-marking shoes please. Street shoes not allowed on the dance floor. Singles welcome – We Rotate! Masks & Vaccinations recommended.

Friday begins @ 7:30pm with a one hour All Level East Coast Swing class followed by a St Patty’s Day

Social Dance: $5 Members, Military & Students; $6 General Public. Cash only please

Saturday & Sunday take you into a dynamic Cross ‘Step Waltz progressive workshop.  Check it out!  Register HERE!

11:50a-1:05p     Cross-Step Waltz 1B ~ Turning basics – A little tricky, but so worth it!

1:05p-2:00p       Lunch Break

2:00p-3:15p       Cross Step Waltz 2A ~ The Ebb and Flow – Putting it together.

3:20p-4:35p       Cross Step Waltz 2 B ~ 3 for 1 Moves that have multiple variations.

4:35p-6:00p       (Regularly Scheduled Club Practice No Charge, this one is on us!)

Sun. – Mar. 20 ~  Dance Experience Required – Int. and above, progressive from Saturday.

10:00a-11:15a   Cross-Step Waltz 3A ~ Review and Leveling up.

11:20p-12:35p   Cross-Step Waltz 3B ~A Pivot, A Pivaloop, and a Spin.

12:35p-1:30p     Lunch Break

1:30p-2:45p       Cross-Step Waltz 4A ~ Hesitations Anyone?

2:50p-4:05p       Cross Step Waltz 4B ~ Streaming Live – Would you like to dance? 

4:05p-5:00p       Workshop Instructor Guided Practice

Everyone’s invited, whether you have a partner or not. Join us for this Valentine’s themed dance. Ballroom Dance Club of Fairbanks ~ Friday, Feb. 17th, 8:30-11:00pm @ Pioneer Park. No dance experience required. This is a great way to meet new people. Please bring your favorite dish, appetizer or snack to share with all the participants.
